Performance demonstration of Zinc Sulfide and Strontium
Aluminate photoluminescent floor proximity escape path marking systems
The FAA performed tests for comparing the use of zinc sulfide and strontium aluminate
pigments in photoluminescent wayfinding systems aboard transport category aircrafts in
1998. Below you will find the link to the FAAs web-site and can read the whole report in
pdf-format. We've also included and high-lighted some of the conclusions from the tests
just below the link to FAA.
